Gretna Little Theatre will hold its Annual Meeting Tuesday,  August 16th at the Gretna Center for the Arts.   Members of the community are invited to attend and become involved in the organization’s business as well as performers and audience.  A non-profit organization, volunteers are needed in all aspects of the operation.
These past two seasons the community theatre has been expanding programs as well as renovating the Center.  From four productions in 2008 to six events plus a youth workshop in 2016, actors and designers have opportunities to use their skills in a variety of ways.  A series of Coffee House events invites artists to perform in a friendly venue, and we hold outreach programs to build our impact in Pittsylvania and neighboring counties.
Renovation of the former mercantile building progresses as we set our sights on the second floor with office space and storage.  We have added new rest rooms, air conditioning, and upgraded utilities this year.  The new roof has improved our appearance as much as the new windows did three years ago.
President Deborah Price Moran and Executive Director Janina Shoemaker welcome any and all to our Annual Meeting as we set goals for the 2017 season.  There is a place for all to come play with us.
